Over 656 feet high you can experience swimming in one of the most fascinating and surreal (or scariest, depends if your afraid of heights) pools on earth. On skypark of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, this infinity pool is like if a paradise island were lifted off the ground and placed on top of three giant pillars.
The rooftop park stands 656 feet above ground and serves as an urban oasis that is planted with landscaped gardens that are home to 250 trees and 650 types of plants across 133,472 square feet of space—it’s as big as three football fields combined.
The building is made up of three sloping towers that connect on at the top to form a single structure. From afar, the rooftop deck looks as if a boat has been placed on top of the three buildings to form a giant archway. The skypark on the top floor of the hotel extends out to form one of the largest cantilevers in a public space in the world. Designed as an exotic getaway and aerie by Marina Bay, the beautiful hotel has more than 2,500 guest rooms and suites and currently ranks as the largest resort in Singapore.
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel has recreated paradise itself, an oasis over the clouds.
